Universal Studio Japan, Osaka - Fun theme Restaurants

The Universal Studio Japan (USJ) Park in Osaka consists of 8 themed villages : The world of Harry Potter, Hollywood, New York, Jurassic Park, Minions Park, Amity Village, San Francisco and Wonderland. There are a total of 22 Fast Food or restaurants located throughout the park to eat. Often it is possible to buy with the menu privileges on some attractions. You have plenty of choice between eating on the go and maximizing your time at attractions. Or you could sit quietly in a restaurant and enjoy the atmosphere in the room, decoration and service.

For us, we were tempted by 3 themes : Jurassic Park, the Minions and Harry Potter. In the 3 restaurants, in the plate as in the room, the atmosphere was well recomposed. The menu in the village of the Dinosaurs is quite expensive and finally, not very well elaborated. On the other hand, the decoration and the animations are very realistic. It is true that it is not easy either to create a dish around dinosaurs using simple ingredients. For our snack, we ate 2 items related to the Minions of the movie Despicable Me. The decor of the restaurant was not that much in phase but the plates were superbly imagined. The burgers had a taste of burgers but it was really cute and the dessert too. These 2 dishes were very well presented. Finally, in the 3 broomsticks of the world of Harry Potter, the dinner was sweet (we had eaten so much in the day, it was difficult to eat a complete meal after that). We went to the USJ Park in early October in the middle of Halloween period, so we saw a lot of dishes on this theme. We decided to choose the platter of dessert offered by the wizards' restaurant. This plateau was the representation of the forest and Hogwarts castle in pastry. There was a Carrot cake, cookies, an apple pie and chocolate cones. It was beautifully presented. All the cakes were good and the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant are amazing. The other dishes also recall the movies (but as our stomachs were full, we did not try the devil ;p). Moreover, in the evening, comes the animation of the Death Eaters all around the wizarding houses. It's super fun!

Overall, everything is done in the USJ Park to make you feel good and spend your money in the park. Whether in souvenirs or restaurants, everything is developed by theme, by universe, ... so you want to taste and experience all. After all, it's so well done that it's hard to say you're spending money for nothing :)
