We found at a Japanese supermarket a drink that serves as a dietary supplement whose name can lead to confusion: the VC 3000. Contrary to what we can think when we hear this name, this is a lemon energy drink. In fact it is an abbreviation for Vitamin C 3000 mg.
So far, nothing bad. Once the brick is open, we realize that the energy drink has a very strong smell that is reminiscent of the disinfectant for the toilet. To top it off, pour into a glass, a translucent and a little yellowish liquid whose color recalls the bleach, comes out. It does not give any desire ... Already the name, then the smell and finally the color of the liquid, it's like preparing yourself for the spring cleaning and not at all in a tasting session LOL! Finally the taste, nothing extraordinary, the VC 3000 is just water where we added sugar, the artificial taste of lemon and vitamin C powder (3 grams for the 1.5L anyway).
It was a fun taste test : just for the name of the drink. Even if it does not really get out of the ordinary. I would even say it may be worse, since everything in this drink is chemical. But just for fun, it's worth trying ;p
