At the Konbini Lawson, we found a Kit Kat from Kyushu Island, the Kit Kat Kumamoto Matcha (Japanese Green Tea). This kat kit uses a fairly pronounced green tea from Kumamoto. Kumamoto is a town in the west of Kyushu. We were surprised by the shape of these Kit Kat. It is ball shaped Kit Kat. Normally, these Kit Kit are sold in packs of 12 mini rectangular Kat Kit.

As said before, the Matcha of Kumamoto is reputed to have a fairly pronounced taste. And here it is used as-is inside the wafer. The coating is a milk chocolate with strong taste and it must be said that they put the quantity... Overall, one can taste pretty well the green tea. This green tea and milk chocolate go very well together. Neither of them dominates over the other. The combination is perfect.

We tested a lot of kit kat but that one, it has a particularly round shape. The use of Kumamoto Green Tea makes this Kit Kat very special and quite sought by tourists, like us, who tracks the various local Kit Kat. So if you find it during your trip, I advise you to taste them, they are really good.
