We bought in the supermarket a bottle of Orangina called Lemonginaレモンジーナ because this drink is an Orangina with lemon and honey. This is a drink found exclusively in Japan. Orangina was acquired by the Japanese company Suntory in 2009.Orangina knows a great success here in Japan. Especially as Orangina products are labeled Born in France lol ! Japanese advertisings for Orangina are in French (not with a French actor) and in their latest ad, the lead actress appears to be French (in any case, more than Richard Gere).

The taste of the Lemongina is like lemonade with sparkling water. Honey sweetens the taste of lemon which can be a bit aggressive. As it is made with honey, this beverage is not too sweet. Pierrick think this beverage still has a slightly chemical taste. After all, this is not a true lemonade, then this is the industrial taste of lemon, the taste may be synthesis and not 100% of lemon juice I think. That may be why the impression of a little chemical taste. Personally, I thought it was not bad, although I prefer the original version of Orangina. The Lemongina is sold throughout Japa , you will find in supermarkets, kombini ... It is not very expensive, about 100 yen a bottle, depending on the store.

For those in Japan do the test yourself. The Lemongina is quite refreshing drink that reminds me of lemonade.
