We saw this Dagashi in the second episode of Dagashi Kashi where Hotaru try to do as adults and offers Kokonutsu to drink a beer, a Namaiki Beer. We thought it would be fun to try. We managed to find it in a supermarket in Matsuyama.

This Dagashi is sold in a small rectangular bag as sugar powder bag but inside, it contains 2 effervescent tablets to create the beer. You just add a little water (just be careful not to put too much otherwise it overflows). You have to put both tablets at the same time because one is used to give color and taste, while the other is used to create the foam. The entire view is pretty nice, the mixture has a pretty blonde color with a thick foam.

The taste by cons, it's a awfully chemical taste. It is likely that children like it because it gives them the illusion of being an adult and toast with their glasses of pseudo-beer. But , this is not the taste of beer, just a chemical taste a bit sweet. It's fun to try but it is not a product that we will buy again... To test once but not more! :p
