Among the specialties that can offer the city of Kochi, you will find the Boshi Pan ぼ う し パ ン. In reality, it is a cake with a biscuit dough base. It's a little sweet, but with a little jam or honey, it's even better.

This little bread was born around 1955 from a mistake made by a baker in Kochi. Originally he wanted to make a melon-bread, small Japanese sweet bread, but the baker has cooked without knowing his loaf of bread with biscuit dough stuck underneath. During baking, the bread took an unexpected form of hat. This is where comes the pastry specialty of Kochi.

Like what, errors may arise excellent cakes, such as the Tarte Tatin ;)
