Well in theory, I normally had to stop after my hunt for Fukubukuro at the Tokyo Skytree shopping center. But well, I cracked when we passed in the station Ikebukuro in front of the shop Chocoholic. You remember, it is the small shop that is located in the north-west part of Ikebukuro station, where are sold a lot of ultra kawai items. It goes from clothing to products for cooking, to accessories, handbags, stationnary ... I was too tempted ;p
Well for my defense, the Lucky Bag costed only 3,000 yen and it weighed a ton (figuratively lol). It's true that it was very heavy, at least 2 kg in total (when Pierrick took it, he totally freaked out, he started grunting and complaining that because of this Fukubukuro we were going to be overweight). I was very happy when I discovered the content of the Fukubukuro, it must be the Lucky Bag that contains the most (in number) articles of all the Fukubukuro I bought (pfffff I did not lose money, otherwise I would have been beheaded by Pierrick :s). In all, there were products in the bag : a mug in the shape of a little man with a violet cap, a cardboard kit to build a plate for mini pastries, pink flip-flops (hence the label with different sizes S, M, L on the bag), a sunglasses box (very kitsch), several stationnary items, a handbag in the form of a rabbit's head, ... I got a lot out on this one. The total value of the content is at least twice the value of the Lucky Bag.
In the end, I am very happy with my purchase. I had a lot of super cute items, called here kawai. Of course, I do not like some of them, but I can always offer them to my entourage. After all, I got them for virtually nothing :)
