In the station Ikebukuro, we discovered a small shop named Chocoholic. It is a store for the house decorations, objects for the kitchen, ... All the products sold are in the theme of the Kawaï, candy and chocolate. The peculiarity in Ikebukuro is that the store has a pastry shop too. The showcase is a pleasure to the eyes so the desserts are pretty. Especially now, during the holiday season when the Japanese often buy pastries to celebrate Christmas.
There are several Christmas items at fairly reasonable prices. I managed to buy one of the Christmas mug with chocolate pudding inside (Pierrick did not want me to buy the 2 mugs because he is not a fan of pudding and for him, this is not easily transportable). In fact, these are real ceramic mugs, there is one with santa claus and the other is a reindeer. Individually, the mug costs 390 yen but if you buy both, the price is 700 yen. They are really very cute mini mugs, I wanted so much to have both. In addition, the chocolate pudding is really good. It is super light, contrary to what I thought. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and lightness of this dessert. And Pierrick also !
Well... If you have the opportunity to go to Ikebukuro, do not hesitate to go to the Chocoholic shop and its pastry corner. If you are not interested in decorative objects or small Kawai products, you can always indulge yourself with a small sweet pastry :)
