My japanese cubic car

During our stay on Shikoku island, we decided to rent a car to facilitate our tour. On the internet, we chose to rent a car in TIMES CAR Kochi for 2 days. The rent costed 11998 yen. The car we had, was a Daihatsu Tanto. It is a city car very popular in Japan.

That may be a question of space or perhaps to be more practical, but Japanese cars are almost all cubical. It is the same for trucks. In addition, cars are all of small sizes. In general, the roof of the cars does not exceed 1 meter 80. What is quite curious to see for foreigners :)

Our rental car, the Tanto (4 seats), can carry up to 5 people mx and has a quite big car boot for its small size. It is equipped with a GPS in English (voice and map indication) and an automatic transmission. By cons, I can not say it was really fast : p In fact, it could not go beyond 140 km/h but it is still very convenient. We made more than 500 kms in 2 days and I can tell you that it has held up well when Pierrick tried to push it almost to the max ;)
